Daniel Suhr provides strategic and legal counsel for conservative leaders in Wisconsin and across the country. He spent five years as chief of staff to Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch, assisting with her initiatives to combat opioids, reform the tax code, and reduce homelessness. He also worked for Governor Scott Walker as policy director and deputy legal counsel. He currently serves on the front lines in the legal fight to protect our freedoms as a senior attorney at a national public-interest legal center; he previously worked at a think tank and as a law clerk for a federal judge.
A graduate of Marquette University (BA, JD), Georgetown University (LLM), and the University of Missouri (MPA), he’s married to Anna and loves building legos and watching Star Wars with their young sons, Will and Graham, at their home in Thiensville, Wis.
